Share the love of God with women through the study of His word. Share the love of Christ with women through spiritual encouragement and support. Create a safe environment where women can freely share their hearts with one another.
โWalking Togetherโ Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. (Titus 2:3-5)
Diane gave us all a lot to consider with Wednesdayโs lesson on mentoring. She reminded us of the directive found in Paulโs letter to Titus and instructed us on how we can be the Titus 2 women we are called to be.
The โKEEP GROWINGโ study series will continue when we gather again on Wednesday, August 9th. If you are in the Charlotte Mecklenburg/Lincoln County/Gaston County area, we would love to have you come grow with us.
A Heart2Heart Womenโs Ministry Bible Study Series. Meeting every other Wednesday. No registration required, no study guide to buy. Just bring your bible and your enthusiasm. Next study session July 26th
We are having a great time in our โKeep Growingโ study series. Not only are we growing personally, our group is growing as well! It is a joy to be able to spend time with some old friends and to make new ones.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us –“two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up”!
When a friend comes to us needing a “shoulder to cry on” most of us are standing by ready to listen. But, how can we know if what she really needs is a “shoulder to cry on” or someone who can help her up and give her biblically sound advice? Mentorship is an area where there is a great need, but for many of us, we are just not sure how to take those first steps.
In this week’s lesson, “Walking Together”, Diane will share with us some key points on biblical mentorship.
If you are in the Greater Charlotte/Lincoln County/Gaston County Area we would love to have you join us.

And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, โRejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!โ I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. The Lost Coin (Luke 15:6-7)
OUR LORD sought the proximity of sinners, not because there was any affinity between His character and theirs, but because He desired to bring them back from the far country into which they had wandered. The straying sheep heedlessly nibbles at the grass which lies immediately in front, and so crops its way until it has wandered a great distance from the shepherd, and the rest of the flock.
Is this a picture of your life? Have you lived only for personal gratification, drifting in thoughtlessness and unconsciousness of the dangers which threaten to destroy you? Then remember, that though you care not for yourself, your condition is stirring the deepest solicitude in the heart of Christ. Probably you will never find your way back to Him, but Christ is on your track, and He will not relinquish his quest until He has come just where you are, and has extricated you from the rocks on which you have fallen, or from the thorns in which you are entangled.
The lost coin bears the image and superscription of the sovereign, once clear-cut by the mint, but it lies unused, tarnished and perhaps defaced, amidst the dust of the corner, or the chink of the floor. Its owner sweeps, ransacks, and explores every possible hiding-place until it is found. How aptly that lost coin represents the soul of man, made in the image of God, lying amid the dust of sin. The one hope for the sinner is the anxiety in the heart of God, who leaves no stone unturned that He may win us back. There is disturbance and removal, and the house of life is upset in every part, for no other reason than that we should be recovered.
