Who couldn’t use a little more simplicity in her life?

In the next “Keep Growing” session Diane will share with us how we can make life less complicated if we will just put first things first.

PREVIEW “There are so many things in our daily lives that require our attention, our time, our resources, and our thoughts. We don’t need all the things we think we do. What we need is to keep life simple and put first things first”.

But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. (1 Timothy 6:6-7)

What is something that we all need to help us keep growing?

ENCOURAGEMENT!

In her lesson from the life of David, Amy Jo reminded us that when we encourage others we not only bless them but we receive the greater blessing.

Amy Jo gave us 4 Encouragement Principles from God’s word:

1. It’s about what you get, not what you give. (Philippians 2:3-6, 4:17-18)
2. It’s about seeing in others what they could be, not what they are. (Judges 6:11)
3. It’s more about scripture than sympathy. Seeing the greater need. (Mark 2:15)
4. It’s more about God’s plan for others than for their immediate needs. (2 Corinthians 1:3-7)
