Growing By Knowing

In Wednesday’s lesson Sandra talked to us about God’s incommunicable and communicable attributes.

In the breakout session we had an opportunity to dig into scripture to learn more about those attributes and how we can apply them to our lives in ways that will help us grow.

This Week…

No doubt most of us have heard discussions about God’s attributes, how they describe and define His character. But, did you know that He has both incommunicable AND communicable attributes?

In this weeks study we will learn about both the incommunicable and communicable attributes of God. We will discuss what they are, what they mean, how to apply them to our lives, and how doing so will help us to keep growing.

Now they may say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?”
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus 3:13-14)

We Keep Growing – Together

“Walking Together”
Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored. (Titus 2:3-5)

Diane gave us all a lot to consider with Wednesday’s lesson on mentoring. She reminded us of the directive found in Paul’s letter to Titus and instructed us on how we can be the Titus 2 women we are called to be.

The “KEEP GROWING” study series will continue when we gather again on Wednesday, August 9th. If you are in the Charlotte Mecklenburg/Lincoln County/Gaston County area, we would love to have you come grow with us.
