Overwhelmed!

Overwhelmed. There is no better word to describe how we, the women of Heart2Heart, are feeling this morning.

At the beginning of December we announced the plans for the 2024 Conference, your response has been, well…Overwhelming! As of 8:47 today morning all seats have been spoken for.

In just a little over a month 140 women will gather together for an evening of worship, sharing and a message of encouragement.

For those who were not able to commit to this year’s conference, we hope you will be able to join us for future events. Following Heart2Heart on our website and/or on our Social Media page is the perfect way to stay in the know about Conferences, mini-events, Bible Studies and all the other exciting things Heart2Heart is doing.

From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Psalms 61:2)

Are You Feeling Overwhelmed?

A harried housewife sighed “I have so many problems that if something terrible happened to me it would be at least two weeks before I could get around to worrying about it.” Sound familiar? You are not alone.

Heart2Heart invites you to spend an evening with us for time to relax and learn from God’s word how you can find rest from the chaos.

Until Next Time…

Nine weeks goes really fast when you’re enjoying the fellowship of your sisters in Christ and exploring the truths of God’s Word.

This past Wednesday was bittersweet as we ended our study on the life of Joseph – “But God.”

I know I speak for all of Heart2Heart leadership when I say what a joy it was to have shared these past nine weeks with such a committed group of women, all eager for God’s Word.

We want to thank those of you who came early to help set up, brought treats for us to enjoy, faithfully prayed for the study, the study leaders and each other; without your time and effort this study would not have been possible. (A special thanks to Faith Baptist Church for making your fellowship hall available to us).

Following our final lesson we gathered for a meal and some holiday fun.

Our next study, topic and dates to be determined. Until the, may our Lord richly bless you and yours.

Grace and peace,

Amy Jo, Diane and Sandra

“God Has Determined”

It was another great lesson this past week!

Diane gave us some important points to consider as she took us through Genesis 40 and 41.

We saw that:

  1. Even as a prisoner, Joseph prospered
  2. Joseph used his position to serve others
  3. Joseph recognized his ability came from God
  4. Joseph gave God all the glory for his success

In each season of adversity we continue to see that Joseph does not waver in his trust of God’s faithfulness. There is much we can learn by studying and emulating the character of Joseph.

Grace and peace,
Diane, Amy Jo, Sandra
